Do you know your dingoes from your dinosaurs? Your mammoths from your maltipoos? Test your knowledge with Sam Copeland’s paw-some Animal Quiz inspired by his book Charlie Changes into a Chicken. The perfect inspiration to help children imagine what it would be like to be one of their favourite animals.
Children will need a pen and paper to join in with the quiz, which features questions using extracts from the book with multiple choice questions too.
Use this video to inspire creative writing, support reader development lessons and even as a Golden Time treat! Children can share their animal knowledge and learn new facts about their favourite creatures.

The Story-Makers Show was known as Puffin Virtually Live up until March 2019. The content and ambition of the show remains the same: to give every pupil the opportunity to engage with authors and illustrators in their own classroom using the power of the internet.
We’ve re-named Puffin Virtually Live so that it’s easier for new teachers to discover it as part of Puffin Schools and to acknowledge that the show now premieres on show day, rather than being streamed live.
